Our primary service is high-pressure die casting (HPDC) of aluminium and zinc alloys We use modern, high-automated casting cells and different materials suitable for the high-pressure die casting technology. Our foundry is equipped with a central vacuum system. We use various technological approaches, such as casting with squeez pins (SP), jet coolers (JC), vacuum (central or portable), and real-time control and intervention, to achieve the desired quality of our products.
We are aware of the importance of a melt purity, from the melting process up to the moment that it enters the tool cavity. We meet the applicable requirements by using state-of-the-art systems and methods.
Occupational health and safety are two of the key principles of our manufacturing system. Among all other things, the foundry is equpped with state-of-the-art air-conditioning systems. In addition, we also highly prioritize orderliness and cleanliness which are two cornerstones of lean manufacturing.
We use state-of-the-art automated machines for machining which have been adapted to our products and processes.
When developing the machining process which begins already at the product design stage, we analyse in parallel any potential failure and errors and adapt our process or product accordingly. Using the knowledge obtained during our years of experience, as well as the cooperation with our customers, we will prepare a first-rate product meeting all applicable standards and requirements.
According to the needs of our customers, we can assemble a product using semi-finished products made in line with various technological processes and ...materials, thus retaining full control over the manufacturing process. Using preventative measures to avoid failures and errors, as well as solutions for a 100% automatic control in the assembly process, we guarantee compliance with requirements of individual components, as well as of the entire assembly.
The option of executing the assembly process in-house enables to save costs at several levels and also reduces the duration of the entire manufacturing process, including any changes of individual semi-finished products or of the entire assembly. The responsibility for the assembly and for our suppliers is taken by us.
We primarily use polymer injection moulding for our internal processes in order to provide a comprehensive solution and to prepare assemblies. We prov...ide controlled, automated manufacturing of polymer products with a high degree of reproducibility.
We use various polymer materials which also include additional materials such as PTFE, glass fibres, carbon fibres etc.
which, in the area of development and manufacturing of end products, opens up additional possibilities in combination with other technological process...es. At Difa, by using several types of machining and forming procedures, we can create a comprehensive solution for our customers all at a single location.
When it comes to forming, we are known for our adaptability to our customer's needs and to the semi-finished products in the assembly. We use an entirely automated process with state-of-the-art eccentric servo presses.
These include sand blasting, shot peening, deburring or vibratory finishing, washing, ageing or heat treatment of castings, etc....
By providing additional technological processes, we primarily complement our existing scope of technological processes in order to achieve the requested product quality, flexibility, a higher degree of competitiveness and the lowest possible environmental impact. We complement additional processes pursuant to the needs of our customers and product requirements which arise therefrom.
